Mulgumpin Yatra (Moreton Island)
Mulgumpin (Moreton Island), QLD
Friday 21 – Saturday 29 August
with Ronny Hickel & Emma Pittaway
Mulgumpin (Moreton Island) features coastal heath, rocky headlands, crystal clear lagoons, wildflowers, tall sand dunes, a historic lighthouse and miles of sandy beaches. The sheltered bay waters are home to marine animals including turtles and dugongs. A host of migratory and resident shorebirds feed and roost on the beaches.
This pilgrimage will lead us around the spectacular northern end of the island through a series of camps where we will provide a flexible combination of silent periods for yoga, meditation, and walking, as well as time for facilitated exercises, talks, group circles, and artistic expression. We’ll draw on traditional dharma teachings and meditation practices from the Buddhist and Yoga traditions, as well as science, deep ecology, and tribal traditions.

Mulgumpin Yatra 2026 is now open for Applications.
